Purpose

Stryve is designed to establish individualized meaningful employment outcomes for all persons served in integrated community based settings. The individualized program is driven by each person’s self-advocated plan with their expressed career preference to obtain meaningful employment. Individuals served will have chosen employment service opportunities that include: authentic assessment, comprehensive self-advocacy facilitation, career exploration, integrated work on the job training, natural support strategies, meaningful employment, job related community access, job site access, transportation training, and work site related social supports.

Values

Inclusion - We firmly believe that life and learning are best experienced in natural settings, as part of the home and community. We strive to be 100% community based to give our people served full inclusion and acceptance into their local communities.

Person Centered - We help people to make choices and to direct their own lives – pursuing their own choices, goals, aspirations and preferences.

Independence - We take each individuals goals seriously as we work with them to unlock their potential. We take pride in our ability to not only teach skills, but help our consumers utilize them across various times and settings.

Respect - We promote respect, honesty, collaboration and integrity in all our relations. We empower the individual served, staff, and partners to achieve outcomes and goals. We provide opportunities for people to grow, both personally and professionally.

Individuality - We recognize there is not a “one size fits all” approach and that the person served should be given the best opportunity to pursue their own goals.

"Nobody else can live the life you live...And even though no human being is perfect, we always have the chance to bring what’s unique about us to live in a redeeming way."
